The definition of brunch is ambiguous at best...
Even members of our community can't seem to agree...

While we've got tons of brunch-related lists, we thought it was about time we gave some recognition to mid-week brunch. Now, some of these places may constitute as 'breakfast' spots, but if they're still serving it at 3pm we're gonna go right ahead and call that brunch!
So here are the best places to go if you find yourself hankering for some hollandaise-doused eggs mid-week...
Go for the eggs (which they put Gubbeen cheese into - hunreal!) and ham, but ask for a cheeky side of avocado on top. You have to be careful though, because these guys don't open on Mondays so don't get caught out!
8am - 5pm, Tuesday - Friday.
These beauties have an all day brunch menu which features some of the heavyweights from their weekend brunch menu. Everything is amazing, but special shouts have to go to their Turkish eggs menemen. Two locations on either side of the Liffey means you're never too far away from brunch.
7.30am - 5.30pm, Monday - Friday.
One of Dublin's best kept secrets, this neighbourhood café serves up a whole load of different treats. A big jug of mint and cucumber water, and eggs florentine with smoked salmon is exactly what the doctor ordered - no matter what day of the week it is!
9am - 4pm, Monday - Friday.
Another little gem tucked away in Rathmines, we're happy to report that they also have an all day brunch menu. You can get lashings of poached eggs, pancakes or whatever you're in the mood for.
8am - 6pm, Monday - Friday.
The name probably makes you think of the tea you've seen in cafés across the city, but they do so much more than tea in their Portobello home. Their menu changes every day and is written on the blackboard behind the till, but you can expect lots of eggs, ham, beans and bagels all day here.
8am - 8pm, Monday - Friday.
