With the clocks changed, this grand stretch brings evening strolls, being sentenced to Drury Street duty and, of course, some pretty spectacular sunsets.
Regardless of where you are in Dublin, you're bound to be privy to the vibrant sky come dusk. When the sky comes alight with a myriad of pinks, reds and oranges, it's easy for your stress and worries to slip away.
Sunsets are one of the world's greatest equalisers, a moment of nature's beauty which is accessible to everyone.
We've compiled some of our favourite sunset spots across Dublin for you to make the most out of the picturesque nightly sunset:
Situated along Dublin's spectacular coastline, Howth Head is the perfect place to catch the sunset.
Starting at Howth Village's harbour, you can embark on a 7.8km clifftop loop of the coast. Just make sure you time it so you're not stuck coming back down in the dark!
For those who aren't the hiking type, you can park in the Howth Head car park and simply head up to the summit from there.

Located in North County Dublin, Portrane Beach is another great coastal spot with an amazing open sky to watch the daylight diminish.
This 2km stretch of sandy beach makes for the perfect scenic walk.
While there is no vehicle access to the beach itself, parking is provided at the pedestrian entrance.

Montpelier Hill, known to many as the Hellfire Club, is a lovely place for a walk and to enjoy the sunset.
Despite its rich and ominous supernatural mythology, this spot is located just outside the city and gives you some amazing views of the sun setting over Dublin.

Nestled away on Killiney Beach and beside the Vico Baths, you will find White Rock Beach.
This hidden gem is a gorgeous sandy beach that gets cut off from the main beach during high tide. This makes it the perfect place to relax and take in the sunset on the sea.

With a path leading directly along the sea to Portmarnock Beach, the Malahide Estuary is the perfect place for a gorgeous sunset walk or run.
This tidal estuary also has grasslands that support making it home to various birds, including Linnets, Stonechats, Pipits, and Goldfinches. So why not do some birdwatching while the sun sets?

Probably the most central spot on this list, the open skies of Grand Canal Dock are perfect to watch the sun go down on the day.
So perch yourself on one of the benches or stand on a bridge and take in the breathtaking, vibrant evening sky.

Kiliney Hill is the perfect vantage point to take in some amazing views of Dublin at dusk.
Forming part of Kiliney Hill Park, it is a small park which overlooks both Dalkey and Killiney villages. So enjoy a little walk before the sky begins to transition into some spectacular colours.

Coming in at €5pp, a trip up to the top of the Smithfield Tower will give you a 360-degree view of Dublin City. At a height of 60 metres, it is also one of the city's tallest pieces of infrastructure.
With evening bookings available, it's well worth taking a trip up to watch the sky turn from blue to pink.
