Suzanne's story

So there I am waddling back from Dunnes, 9 months pregnant and three days away from my due date with a tube of salt and vinegar Pringles tucked under my arm.

I spot my ex waiting to cross the road and I recognise his little brain trying to do some maths as he clocks my enormous pregnant belly.

(No it was never going to be his. Too long ago, phew!)

We nod politely and I get to my mums where I'm staying. I plonk onto the sofa and SPLOOSH – my waters burst and baby arrives 9 hours of screaming hell later!
