With Halloween creeping ever closer, it’s time to get cracking on your costume and, more importantly, where you’re going to flaunt it...
Halloween can be hit-and-miss, so get planning where you're gonna go now to avoid FOMO on the day!
Whether you're planning to celebrate over the October Bank Holiday Weekend or on Halloween itself, here are a few options to help you avoid the horrors of Harcourt Street.
Masayoshi Fujita at Belvedere House, Saturday October 24, 8pm.
If you're looking for something a little bit different, this is your gig...
Masayoshi Fujita is a phenomenal, Japanese vibraphonist (yes kinda like a xylophone, except it vibrates) who makes the most magical music.
His most recent album, Apologues. was just released on the Erased Tapes label (of Nils Frahm and Kiasmos fame), so he's in good company.
The gig will take place in the newly renovated Belvedere House, so make sure you get down to see a true musical genius at work.
New Blood at Project Arts, Sunday October 25, 8pm - late.
The Project Arts Centre will be utterly transformed for this once-off happening, as part of the Bram Stoker Festival.
Guests can expect live electronic acts and DJs from some of Ireland's best artists, bespoke drinks, art installations and plenty of surprises.
With a strict dress code of Rihanna and FKA Twigs at a stripclub in the Matrix, this certainly promises to be a hedonistic affair!
Moodyman at District 8, October 31, 11pm - late.
Subject and Hidden Agenda have joined forces to come up with quite the delish line-up for District 8's Halloween party.
Moodyman, the absolute dude, will be playing a set on the night alongside some brilliant Irish talent, including The Cyclist, Toby Kaar, and DJ Deece.
For anyone worried about it being too crowded, fret not - both rooms will be open to ensure a enough room to bop on the dancefloor. Unbelievable scenes!
Mother: Dark Mansion at 10 Ormond Quay, October 31, 10pm - late.
Consider yourself one of the chosen ones if you managed to nab tickets to this sordid affair!
The brains behind Mother will be taking over a Georgian house on the quays to throw the mother of Halloween parties.
Set over 6 levels from dank basement cellars and servants' quarters to winding staircases and dining halls, this will be the perfect scene for some mischief.
Mother DJs will be blasting all their usual tunes under candlelit chandeliers in an 18th century ballroom, how fucking class does that sound?
Lovin Dublin Halloween Party - Launch of Later@Cleavereast, October 31, 10.30pm - late.
To celebrate the launch of Later@Cleavereast we'll be hosting a slick Halloween party!
Once the World Cup final final wraps up on October 31st the doors will open to whatever ghouls feel like taking things into the wee hours.
Each guest will receivee two delicious free cocktails or beers, as well as some light nibbles as part of their ticket and we'll have and music from The Painted Lady til late. Get in!

Whether you're in the mood for house, afrobeat, techno, hip hop, disco or reggae there'll be something for everyone at Discotekken's big bash.
Tengu is the perfect spot for a fun boogie without gang and gangs of drunks all up in your grill.
As an added bonus there will be free tubes of fake blood and baggies of glitter for anyone who arrives without a costume. Baggies of glitter? Now, that's what I call a party.
