If you've ever been fortunate enough to visit Chupi in [ MADE ] in the Powerscourt Townhouse, then you'll know what an absolute gem it is.
We were lucky enough to attend the SS17 launch on Thursday evening and fell head over heels for all of the sparkling pieces.
Our personal obsession with Chupi runs deep but if you're not familiar with Chupi and her backstory, take a quick read of the following:
"I was the kid covered in glitter & glue, the one making some new crazy things out of papier mâché, I never thought I’d end up making beautiful sparkly jewellery as my career. When I was 21 I was scouted by Topshop from my first year in college, the youngest designer to ever to work with the brand. I went from scruffy student to serious designer overnight and I loved it. After six years in fast fashion I wanted to create something that would last, to celebrate Ireland’s design heritage and my love for wild and natural beauty. I’ve always been fascinated by jewellery, how serious jewellery marks a moment in your life. I fell in love with sparkly things; now every piece I make has a story, it’s where the magic is."

Like a sparkle of sunlight catching the early morning dew in the hedgerows, this grey diamond is set in a claw setting atop one of our signature twig rings. Grey diamonds are a one in a million gemstone and this diamond sparkles with an inner fire, a lovely alternative to a classic diamond.

Cast from a real seashell, Chupi actually found this particular shell Inishbofin.
