Dublin Bus has come under fire by a cyclist concerning a video that he took on the morning of Storm Ali.
Chris Morgan posted two videos to Twitter, the first of which took place on Friday morning last.
He claims that Dublin Bus allegedly skipped a red light which he described as "unacceptable behaviour".
In the second video, which was taken on Wednesday morning (the morning of Storm Ali), Chris describes how the bus in question passed by him very closely and then stopped suddenly in front of him as he tried to negotiate the stormy weather.
Chris was very thankful that his disk brakes were working perfectly.
He said: "Cycling in a storm is hard enough without this sort of driver behaviour. Is this the driving of a 'professional driver'?!
"Passes close and stops right in front of me. Thank god I have disk brakes. 19-9-18 8:30am."
A spokesperson told us that:
"We are aware of the incidents highlighted on social media this morning and our operations team is investigating these.
"Cyclist safety is of paramount importance to Dublin Bus and has always formed part of our driver training processes.
"We take complaints from cyclists extremely seriously and all incidents or accidents are investigated fully."
