VIDEO: Dublin Fire Brigade Tackle Massive Gorse Fire In Howth

Dublin Fire Brigade have posted the scary scenes on their Twitter account of the gorse fire that they had to deal with in Howth on Saturday.

Starting roughly in the early hours of Saturday morning, DFB were on the scene immediately

There was three pumps and a water tanker at the scene as they fought the gorse fire and DFB admitted that they will be expecting more scenes like these if the hot weather continues.

"We're expecting more fires of this type with the present dry weather. Take care out in the countryside this weekend. It’s VERY dry! Have BBQs in designated areas, take care disposing of cigarettes and if your kids are exploring with friends, teach them the dangers of gorse fires"

It was a busy night for DFB as they had to tackle a car fire in Tallaght and also assisted with a pet rescue from Tolka River.
