You're after a very hard week at work. You need some downtime, you need to chill out and most of all, you need to treat yourself.
We completely get that, a special pamper day has been organised at Dunboyne. The event will take place at Natures Garden Room, 17 The Park, Dunboyne Castle and those who doing the pampering are not asking you for anything, you decide how much you want to pay for it.
There will be a gorgeous range of pampering treatments on a donation basis from reflexology to Indian head massages, facials, manicures and much more.
Face painting and snacks, treats and lots of fun will be had on the day and anything donated will be going towards much needed funds to be raised for the playground equipment for Stewarts School.
If successful, the construction would see the school become one of the biggest special needs schools in Ireland.
It will result in three school campuses joining up under one roof in Lucan and the capacity will go from 125 to 170 and will cost €12m in total.
The school will have four state of the art playgrounds if fundraising is successful.
They need €200,000 in total for the playgrounds and this is due to the high cost of individual items (for example, one disability swing costs €15,000)
The school caters for children between 4 and 18 with moderate to severe and profound difficulties (including autism and complex medical needs).
