If you haven't already been to Ardgillan Castle and Demesne you're going to want to head there very soon after reading this...
Spread across a whopping 194 acres, Ardgillan is the perfect place to go exploring; they've got stunning gardens, a deadly playground (with an age limit, unfortunately), gorgeous woods and one of the best views of the Irish Sea out to Lambay Island. Plus it's a 5-minute drive from Skerries, where you'll find deadly seafood and some of the best wings in Dublin.
To make the place even more appealing, they have added a brand new café called Paws at Argillan to the grounds, that just so happens to be dog-friendly.
Paws at Ardgillan is a unique new café that will give dog walkers the opportunity to dine with their dogs in the stunning surrounds of Ardgillan Castle. The dog-friendly facility is one of the first in Ireland and is certainly the first feature of its kind in a municipal park in the country.
This refreshing new initiative means that after a walk in the extensive and abundant wide open spaces of Ardgillan, dog walkers can sit with their dogs at a café table and partake in either hot or cold light food and refreshments.
