PIC: A Massive Mural For These Musicians Has Been Painted Above J.J’s On Aungier Street

While the whole country is going Ed Sheeran crazy, and will continue to do so this weekend as he rocks the Phoenix Park, another set of rockers are going to grace a famous Dublin music HQ.

The Rolling Stones are in Croke Park on May 17 and they are already pottering around Dublin, sure wasn't Mick himself spotted in Malahide the last day - random enough.

And the ultimate tribute has been paid to the legendary members of the rock 'n' roll scene as this mural sprung up over the weekend at J.J Smyth's pub on Aungier Street.

JJ Smyth's is a family owned bar and describes itself as the "home to many a musician, jazz and blues alike" - so it's only fitting that they let Jagger, Richards and Co have a short stay on their wall.

JJ's became one of the cities oldest continuous licenses, which has remained on precisely the same site since the 1730's and it's a grand auld spot to tip into once you head back into town after the concert.

This will be the fourth concert held at GAA HQ in 2018 with Taylor Swift playing two concerts in June while Michael Bublé is there at the start of July 7.

The Stones' 'No Filter' will also see them play dates in the UK, Germany, France, Poland and the Czech Republic.

Their 'Satisfaction' levels with Dublin and the Irish crowd are high after that mural and they're only going to get bigger once the concert begins.
