This Beloved Old Dublin Cinema Is Set To Reopen In Rathmines

Its doors have been closed for the last decade, but we today learned that the much-loved Stella cinema in Rathmines is set to reopen by this summer. 

The cinema originally opened in 1923 but closed in 2004 and was put up for auction two years ago. 

It has now been taken over by the Press Up Entertainment group. Which we're pretty excited about because that can only mean good things, fun things, exciting things. 

It's believed they will show blockbuster movies and some art house films. 

Finally, something to look forward to.
