Flu season is a terrifying time. Everywhere you go people are riddled with germs, impossible to avoid.
But up the ante, protect yourselves and power through this difficult season with these tips.

And if you want to steer clear of the flu then you should really be drinking these EVERY single morning.
Staying hydrated is key to avoiding illness.
Hot water with manuka honey is a great way to warm you up on these cold mornings and give your immune system a boost with its natural antiviral properties.
Top tip: choose one with a high MGO rating.
It's well known that dairy increases mucus production – especially as you get older – and if your tummy is feeling upset at all then it will only make matters worse.
Fatty foods increase inflammation and weaken the immune system. So if you're dreaming about a burger for dinner, think again.
Eat light, and eat healthy. Your body will thank you.
Sleep is so important to keep your body ticking over as it should.
Ensure you get a great night's sleep by switching off digital devices for at least an hour before bed and read, meditate, listen to music or whatever it is that helps you to switch off.
