This Is The Foolproof Guide To The Perfect Fake Tan For Your Holiday

We're big fans of the summertime here in Lovin Dublin, and so we've teamed up with Boots to sort you guys out and act as a check list for every summer essential you could possibly need.

We were lucky enough to be able to chat to the gorgeous Aimee Connolly who guided us in the way of dreamy summer looks - starting with how to create the perfect daytime look. 

Dodgy fake tan is something we're all guilty of - so we're here to show you how to get your perfect tan without even stepping outdoors. 

We first started off with Aimee using the Soltan Exfoliating Sponge to gently buff the area and prepare the skin for tan. Dampen the sponge to exfoliate areas you plan to tan, without excluding elbows, joints and toes. 

To highlight the different tans on offer, we used both a mousse and liquid tan on different arms - allowing you to pick your favourite.

Aimee used Soltan Protect & Moisturise tan on the right arm, giving a natural-looking healthy glow. Aimee glided it onto the skin with a Soltan Tanning Mitt. 

On the left arm, Amy applied Soltan Beautiful Bronze Mousse in Medium / Dark and left to develop for 2/3 hours to develop a healthy glow. This mousse should be applied daily to prolong tan.
