Booze, Burgers And Tunes – This Is What You’ll Find At The Big Grill This Weekend

The Big Grill is on for the next three days in Herbert Park.

And it's absolutely lit.

You'll witness some insane, otherworldly BBQ techniques – no amateur disposables here.

The craic is ninety, the weather is set to be splitting the rocks and you'll be surrounded by delicious food and drink in one of Dublin's prettiest parks.

It really doesn't get much better than that.

Here are some beyond average reasons to check it out:

Firstly, they have their own currency

You can buy Smokin' tokens at booths throughout the festival.

One Smokin = one euro.

Drinks are reasonably priced

The Dingle Distillery have a stand within the first area and are serving gorge cocktails.

Go for the Raspberry Gin Fizz. It's a sincere delight.

The Irish craft beer selections are out of this world

Trouble Brewing, O'Hara's, Metalman Brewing Co, Dan Kelly's Cider, Brewtonic, O Brother Brewing, Hope Beer, The Bridge 1859, Kinnegar Brewing, Porterhouse Brewing Co, Eight Degrees, Rascals, Mac Ivor's and Blacks of Kinsale are all set up in the big beer open area.

You could honestly spend the full day there mooching and sampling these beaut brews.

The M E A T

From wings, burgers, and hanging chickens to steaks, sausages, huge racks of ribs and massive roasting pigs – you will never see more drool-worthy meat in one space than at The Big Grill.

If I could bottle the smells and wear them as perfume, I would.

Honestly.

Vegetarian and some vegan options can be found throughout the festival too.

The queues can be a struggle but you will be well-rewarded for your patience.
